Master Painting "Katarina Succubus"

This master painting is of Jeremy Vitry's Katarina Succubus for a Riot Contest. You can find his work on artstation.

I didn't get this one done, and I can't stay up until 1am today as I have work early tomorrow morning. So here is what I got done. I started at 9pm and stopped at 11pm. I did actually take process stages this time. But I'm not going to comp them together until I'm done with the copy. So here is the most recent state of the copy.

A quick note on my observations while doing this master copy. There were lots of concentric squashed ovals at an angle these are seen through lost and found, and inferred lines. For example, Katarina's daggers and the top of her hair contain an oval flow to them. I think this lends to the "life" and motion/dynamism of the work. I also noticed there were a lot of tangential horizontal and vertical lines that could be referenced between the major shapes of the different parts. You can see some of these lines being painted over in my sketch.

The numbers on the side are a note for myself, it is the size of my viewing window for the reference image.

Thanks for viewing!
