Housing Transition

Hey! So I've been shuffling for a new place to stay recently so art updates will likely be periodically slower to none existent until mid November. I will do my best to keep some art coming down the line. Hopefully if things aren't too rough the lack of time will make me supa productive, or I can hope at least. =P

Shield WIP C?

Got some crits from a friend, so I'm enacting what I can remember of all the suggestions. Revamping the texture, I've got a little more to go on the front color texture. Need to finish up the steel plates and the rest of the gold trim.

Hand Painted Shield B

A variation on the shield texture. I think I'm about happy with it. I'll start working on the spec and normal after I finish the back. This hand painted texture thing is a lot harder than I remember!



Shield Textured A

Screen grabs of a work in progress of the shields texture. Going for a hand painted look for this one. I don't really have a flushed out design for this shield in my head. So I'm just winging it for the time being. But for now it's a gold trim with two diagonal straps of leather/cloth wrapped around the shield. Think I might give the metal interior a sort of brushed metal finish?


Also playing around with presentation background, and sight credit. (VideoGame-Loots being my asset shop)

Tower Shield

Hey, hey,

Still getting use to blender. So here is another asset, a tower shield I noodled out. I think I figured out how to do hard and soft edges with this one. So that is one more thing I have to relearn how to do in blender out of the way, yay! I'm probably going to stick with spec and diffuse low poly assets for the time being. Until I get a solid grip of that workflow in blender. Then I'll move on to doing normals, cavity, and all that good stuff.

Hopefully, I will be rolling out at least one free and one paid asset every week once I'm comfortable with some sort of workflow. If you have any ideas for assets you want to see/have I'd love to her them! Or Hell if you are an indie game dev and have any ideas on how you would like the models, textures, est packaged for sale/download I'd also love to hear that.
