Screen grabs of a work in progress of the shields texture. Going for a hand painted look for this one. I don't really have a flushed out design for this shield in my head. So I'm just winging it for the time being. But for now it's a gold trim with two diagonal straps of leather/cloth wrapped around the shield. Think I might give the metal interior a sort of brushed metal finish?

Sort of forgot to save progressive development stages. But here was my base color. It's not pretty but it is where the above image started.
